In this operation the coal charge from the coal tower is transferred to the bunkers of the stamping, charging and pushing machine travelling on the rails on the machine side of the coke oven battery. In this machine there is a coal block formed by means of the stamping device in the stamping box with dimensions necessary for correct function during further coking procedure. This coal block is charged to the coking chamber by means of the charging rod.
